Good fodder for many animals, including Dragons
Identification
Daisies are easily missed because we all think about Namaqualand when we hear daisy. These are actually meter-high shrubs, feathery leaves and a covering of yellow, flat flowers.
Harvesting
The only thing we ever harvest is seed for propagation or bird feed, they are very easily stripped off the stalk once they have gone black. A multitude of animals, including Jacky Dragons, eat the leaves right off the plant.
Preparation
There are some reputed uses for daisies, but we grow it only as fresh fodder. The average horse will sell his mother for a bunch of daisy, just break off a branch.
Uses
Feed to rabbits, hamsters, horses, cage birds. Even chickens love destroying the plants.
